He approached the Major's office with anxiety but hopefulness, his boots clicking sharply on the polished stone floor.

He rapped on the door.

"Come in."

Entering the stateroom, he took in its three occupants, two of whom he didn't know: an older gentleman with snow-white hair and beard in a highly-decorated military uniform, the ranking above the Major, and a middle-aged man in stark black dress cloak, vest, and breeches, the only white his cravat peaking out at the throat. His eyes and hair were as black as night.

He came to attention in front of the Major.

"Good, you're here. Colonel Harrison Potter, let me introduce you to General Albus Dumbledore and his associate, Mister Severus Snape."

He politely inclined his head to both. The General gave him a heart-felt smile and nodded. The other held his gaze sternly and acknowledged him with but one single dip of the chin.

"Gentlemen, we have intelligence that points to Napoleon Bonaparte amassing a naval fleet to attack Britain's shores at Trafalgar. We need him stopped and I'm pulling every available resource I can. Extra troops will be stationed on board our ships of which you, Harrison, will be in charge."

"Yes, sir."

"General Dumbledore has been working up some special ammunition to ensure our success. You will need to work closely with Mister Snape in order to train the troops and oversee their proper deployment."

"Of course, sir."

"Now, here are the specifics ...."

Looking out over the fleet, he was amazed that they had come out victorious with very little casualties.

"Those explosives were astounding. I've never seen raining fire like that before," he said to his dark companion.

"Indeed. That, Colonel Potter, is how you bottle fame, brew glory, and stopper death."

Harrison just smiled at Britain's bright future.
