Summary: He didn’t realize he’d frozen in place until Ron jostled his shoulder and asked if he was alright. He said nothing in return, simply nodded and continued on their path. The truth was, he didn’t know what to say. How could he describe the sudden immeasurable dread he’d felt upon acknowledging what it was he was looking at?
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco, eighth-year gen
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1565 words
Warnings: horror, psychological horror, supernatural
Author Notes: Prompt from HP Dark Arts: Like Thestrals, there are other things at Hogwarts not everyone can see. But after the war, Harry can see them and it's terrifying.
Look at me, writing something with Harry as a main character, haha. But since my original works are all supernatural/psychological horror, I couldn’t resist a prompt like this.

A belated Happy Birthday to the other Boy-Who-Lived, Neville Longbottom (yesterday), and of course, Happy Birthday Harry Potter! Wow, most of the crew is now 30-something! Crazy, isn't it?

To celebrate, everybody should write Harry a birthday drabble! Just post as a comment here! (can include link to your LJ if you prefer)

"Hiya, Harry!"

"Hi, Neville."

"Happy Birthday!"

"Yeah, same to you."

"Can I buy you a drink?"

"Only if I can buy yours!"

"You know, I can't believe it's already been a decade since the war."

"Yeah, I know what you mean. It seems like it was still yesterday."

"I don't think I ever told you 'thank you' for defeating You-Know-Who. We were all kinda shook up by our wins and losses back then, and the media ... sheesh!"

"There's no need for you to thank me, Neville. You were just as instrumental as I at bringing down Voldemort."

"But, you're the Boy-Who-Lived, Saviour of the Wizarding World."

"Right, but if you think about it, so are you."

Neville paused and thought and, realizing it was true, blushed at the compliment.

Summary: Official canon has all nine hands of the Weasleys' Wizarding Clock pointing to 'Mortal Peril' the entire time of years six and seven. How boring is that! So, I decided to write this one-shot with the clock being more precise in its accounting of statuses.

Remember, there is one hand for each of the nine family members, and each hand will point to one position on the clock: Home, School, Work, Hospital, Traveling, Lost, Prison, Quidditch, and Mortal Peril at the top.
