Day 2: Podfic Fandom

starduchessFor many of us, podfic is more than just a fanwork, it's a community. We form friendships, support each other, discuss our shared passions and push each other to new forms and heights of creativity. amplificathon, which hosts a big thon for points and prizes in the spring/summer and a rec-a-thon in the fall, but people post their fics there all year long. Everything there eventually gets posted to the Audiofic Archive, where you can find LOTS of stuff, sorted by author or podficcer or fandom or pairing.
Some other cool sites for podfics arepodficbigbang and podfic_bingo and specifically for Harry Potter we have hp_podfic_fest. Some individuals, like fire_juggler, have a slew of recs on their journals and you can get tips for creating such fanworks on podfic_tips.
