Hermione worked her way through the media release to the back stacks at Flourish and Blotts, hoping for some solitude.
Instead, she found them occupied by a rather nice derriere. “Hello. Don’t believe I’ve met your arse before.”
“You’ve met it plenty of times, although you’re usually yelling at my front,” came the snide reply.
“Malfoy?”
He straightened and turned to her. “Shouldn’t be surprised, Granger. My arse is at every new book release, as is yours.”
“Too bad your arse isn’t on a book. Then I might be interested.” She smiled too sweetly, then sauntered back into the crowd.
