Upon two shattered souls as they could be
The world had hitched its worries and its dreams.
To one, with colours fair and lush of creams
Whose eyes invoked the deepness of the sea,
A cold and cruel beginning stretched for he.
It did for, too, the other, dark-haired one,
Whom people hailed for evil overcome,
Though this not turned him from humanity.
These two long enemies that once conspired
To hex each other down the corridor,
Thrown vials of potions smashing on the floor,
The other’s wrath each hoped to cast inspired,
Now sit together hearing ocean’s roar
And spread red wings to celebrate aspired.
