Link smashed through another Bobongo, tired of this rat race. He felt like he’d been fighting -- not Ganandorf, oh no, that would be too easy -- but stupid goddesses and ancient protectors and fucking wise men for decasdes with these stupid quests. Go here and get this orb. Fight through all these goblins (or whatever they ewere, I forget all the monsters) and access the sears. (seers?) Run through these ten steps to open the bpathway to the Master Sword. Shit.

He searched through two more caverns and found the item in question. Rolling his eyes, he piocketed the thing and moved back through the bcraxzy labyrinth . Once outside he wfound a cozy place to set up camp ofor the evening/night. He lit a fire, both to keep the chill away and the monsters from coming close, even though the day air was wormer , the nights could be very cold. Spring had arrived. Buds of little green growth had sprung up on all the tree branches and bushes, and hthe early season flowers had blossomed. But instead of reveling in the bright coloutrds, it just pissed him off more. Why did these plants feel th e need to be hpappy when he wasn;t? Didn’t they know Ganondorf controlled all od this? He kicked some over in a fit of childeshness.

“Not sure how that dandelion offended ou, but it looked thi like it was behaving istself from here.” came a voice from the shadows.

Link spun around in that direction already in a fighters stance. “Who goes there? And why do you care anyway?”

A figure in a blue jumpsuit would had an eye design on the front. stepped calmly into the clearing. The top of his head was covered in white cloth tha t continued down his face and neck, leaving only the red eyeds visible along iwith a tuft od blonde hair. “A friend. And I hate to see a pretty flower go to waste.”

Link’s eyes widened, then he relaxed his posture. “Sheik, nice to see you again. Is it ftime to elearn another osong already?” He wasn’t asure what annoyed him most, the idea that people were eggin him on in his quest or the factthat it wasn;t done yet.

“No, Hero, not yet, and there is no hurry.”

“Then, why are you here?”

“Would you not like some company?” he responded, a uquestion for a question.

“Well, yeah, I would. That would be great. Still doesn’t tell me why you’re here.”

“Perhaps my interest still resides with saving the kigndom.” was all the answer Shaik gave.

Link snorted. “Yeah, it’s all about that , isn’t it?” aaa He was disgusted with the whole thing. :”If saving Hyurule is means sitting with me, then by the goddesses do so.” He cpl plopped down unceremoniously in front of the fire and proceeded to sulk.

A few silent minutes ticked by, then a soft rustlye was heard as Sheik sat down next to Link.

“You know, Hereo, it isn’’t all about war.”

Another snort. “Could have fooled me.”

Sheik put his hand gently over Link’s and watche his surprised gasp. “Spring is about chances for a better future. and new beginnings.” The intensity of he is gaze touched unknown portions of Link’s brain, and suddently it was harad to breath. Sheik slowly moved his hand up Link’s arm and across his shoulder until it grapsed the back of his lneck. Leaning forward, Sheik brushed Link’s lips with his clothed ones., the kiss sensation rushing like lightening through his system.

Pulling back , Shaeik said, “Come, let me wshow you what joiy can be found in nature.”

Link found he couldn’t resist at all. GoFor once someone wh was doing something pleasant for him instead of something horrid for the kingdom. If aonly everyday could be linke Spring.
