“The problem, Granger, is that Muggleborns already have certain prejudices upon entering the Wizarding world that we purebloods take for granted.”
“Name one fundamental issue, Malfoy.”
“Easy. Blood rituals.”
Hermione bristled. “That’s evil magic.”
“Exactly my point. We don’t see it that way, not even the Weasels. Blood rituals are the only way to make blood wards, like the ones on Potter’s house.”
Hermione blinked. She’d never thought of it that way, and it unnerved her. There were still so many cultural differences she had to learn.
Draco just smiled fondly. After all, she proving she was all pure mudblood.
