Summary: During the war, McGonagall was hit with the Wasting Curse. Now, ten years later, she is wasting. Kingsley goes to find a potions maker who can create a cure. He finds The Medicamentarius.
Pairings: Severus Snape/Kingsley Shacklebolt, past Severus Snape/Minerva McGonagall
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 10,440
Warnings: *slash sex, character voices*
Author Notes: I once read something that said that the word “medicamentarius” was translated in medieval texts as “sorcerer” but literally means “one who gives potions.” Being a good Snape fangirl, I immediately thought of him and made a note for future use. Neruda. Song of Solomon. Sinai. Many thanks to perverse_idyll for ironing out wrinkles.

Podficcer Notes: Recorded for HP_Podfic_Fest 2016. This thing took me forever. Not because it's that long, but because I had to re-record the whole thing, after I'd edited it the first time. *headdesk* I hope you all enjoy this better version! Warning for character voices -- I just can't help myself. Thanks to rinsbane for permission to record and semperfiona for beta listening and giving me some honest feedback. I also abridged this (by 40 seconds) at the beginning of the story to make it more cohesive. Music is "Nar-1 Can" by Mercan Dede, as suggested by the author. The spoon dropping sound bite was made by me.
