Author's Notes: I wrote this over at my friend's house. We just happened to have Girl's Night at the same time as DrunkFic! Yay!

"What are you doing back here??" Severus sneered at Remus Lupin, the newest Devense Against the Dark Arts teacher.

"SDumbledore hired me. It wseems ther e is a shortage of defece teachers. Something about a cursed position." Remus tileted his head a bit, his eyes going tdown to the floor.

"Then why tak ethe position?"

"I'm already cursed, as well you know. What differentce does it make?" Remus was way too complacent for this attitude, Severus thought.

Images of the past came through:

a shabby wooden shack

a glowing round disk in the night sky

a sound to reverberate ehthrough the senseds, chilling the blood, hardening the heart, fear racing throught the mind

heart thumping

sneaking rhogh the schrub

eyes widenting at the singing limbs of a black tree

dirt grinding into trousers and fingersnails; hair cathing on roots

terror behyond belief

teeth, claws, screams --- his own

panting as hand and arm pulled him back

anger, humiliation

confessions in the Hedmaster's office

Remus coming up after ward to ask him not to say a word, to apologise , to beg forgive

to push him against the wall and kiss him

heat and lust

tongues

cocks

yearning

thrusting

coming

crying

Severus pulls himself back afrom the thoughts to the present.,ashamed of him reaciontion.

"It's still not safe for yu to be here."

"aMaybe not," Remus agereeed, "but thre is a dreaaw that keeps me coming back." As he said hthis he advanced on Severus.

"Stay back," Severys hissed.

"I don't think so," Remus said calmly.

He steepped forward.

"You endanger everyone around you." Fear became evident beinhind Severus' eyes.

"Only those who oppoe me." Remus stook anothe rstep forward. "You don't mean to turn me in, do you , Severus"?

Oh, gods, his name on Remus ' ips set his blood racing agin, his breath becoming shallow. "you could lose contol any minute," he conjecturedd.

:"You would like thqt, wouldn't you? ... Severus," he wihispered. against Severu' eear.

Severus groaned and closed his eyes. "Please ... don't..."

"I know you're apasssion severus. All you have to do is let go." Remus' lips closed on the pulse point on Severus' neck.

Severus gasped and moaaaaaaned, thrusting his hips twarsd the werefwolf without concscious thought. Het race d though him and the contstriction in his paints became painful.

Pulling on the last strands of his sanity,, he whipped his wand out and thrust it into Remus' throat. "Step back," he grwowled.

Remus frosze athen backed away.

You pulled a wand on me," he said.

"Yes. I cannot trust you," Severus replied.

The hurst was evident in Remus' eyes. "I just want to be with you," he admited, his heart on his sleave.

"Well, you'll just be disappointed. Stay away from me." SSeeverus eys' ewere hard.

The two looked at heach other for a long moment. SRemus turned away firtst, tears prickling his eyes. "I'm sorry you feel that way."

Severus didn't say antying, ujust left.

He was sure this school year would be the worst one yet.
